THE MOLÉSON BOTANICAL ASSOCIATION

Founded in 1986, the Moléson Botanical Association brings together people with a passion for botany. From the outset, the association has been committed to raising awareness of and promoting the exceptional natural heritage of this emblematic massif in the Fribourg Pre-Alps.

Through patient work of observation, identification and knowledge-sharing, its members created this botanical trail, which they have maintained for nearly forty years. Each season, the association’s volunteers label the species according to their flowering periods.
